Lighthouse: 100 / 100 / 100 / 100

I ran Lighthouse on the homepage of this site today. Desktop: 100 on Performance, Accessibility, Best Practices and SEO. Mobile: 99 / 100 / 100 / 100.

I am a little surprised. GPressio, the static site engine I am building for myself, is still under development, and I have been spending most of my time on the editor and the admin, not on chasing scores.

What gets it there is mostly what the site does not do: no JavaScript framework, no fonts to download (it uses the system font), no third-party scripts on page load (comments load only when you ask for them), images resized at upload time, and a Content Security Policy that allows inline scripts by hash only. Everything you read here is plain HTML written to disk when I press Save.

The full story of why I built it is in My journey running my own website.
